Tina Golf course is situated in 80 hectares of parkland, 10 minutes from the city centre. This par 72 course is 5,600 metres long and really makes the most of its varied geography. After the first 9 undulating holes, set in dry deciduous forest land, you'll play the other 9 holes by the edge of the mangroves and along the shoreline of New Caledonia's lagoon.

With the benefit of the trade winds that blow for much of the year, it is always a pleasant temperature on the course and the large number of tees up on high ground provide golfers with magnificent views, either towards the mountains or out over the sea.

Varying wind conditions can make the course different from one day to the next and even from morning to afternoon.

In fact in the cool season, those playing a morning round of golf will benefit from windless playing conditions, whereas in the afternoon, a steady trade wind at a speed of 25 knots will make the round totally different, especially as the mangroves and beach await those who have not got the measure of Aeolus, ruler of the winds.

The course has hosted an annual PGA tournament since 2008..
